Merry Christmas! Craciun Fericit!
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:6
I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! I pray your holiday season is blessed and that you enjoy your time with family and friends. The verse above is from the Old Testament, written almost 700 years before the birth of Jesus. Yet as we read it today we can't help but think the verse was written about Him! The prophecy in Isaiah was fulfilled when Jesus came to earth and was born of a virgin, and laid in a manger. He is our Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace! He is our Savior who came to this earth as a little baby, born in poverty and laid in manger. He is the Savior who died on the cross for our sins that we might have life eternal with Him! I pray you remember why we celebrate this time of the year!
